NeuroFlow CEO & Co-Founder Chris Molaro Among 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs at 2020 Builders + Innovators Summit

Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing NeuroFlow CEO Chris Molaro as one of the ‘100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2020’ at its Builders + Innovators Summit.  Goldman Sachs selected Molaro as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Molaro is a former Army Captain who served his country in the Iraq War. Coming back home, he experienced firsthand the gaps in the behavioral health system and how veterans and civilians alike face too many barriers when it comes to receiving appropriate, timely care for behavioral health. Upon completing his MBA at Wharton, Molaro co-founded the behavioral health technology company to bridge the behavioral and physical health divide to promote access across the care continuum.

“Our company is truly honored to be recognized by Goldman Sachs,” said Molaro. “This recognition will help raise awareness for the millions of individuals struggling with mental health symptoms and the millions more who still fear the stigma of reaching out and getting help. Collaboration with fellow innovators and thought leaders will help drive the larger embrace of technology in healthcare getting people better, faster.”

Molaro, who was also recently named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 Greater Philadelphia, has guided NeuroFlow to a ‘10x’ jump in users and healthcare customers between September 2019 and September 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has catalyzed a renewed focus in behavioral health across nearly all populations; according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), nearly one third of Americans were showing signs of clinical anxiety or depression.

“True innovation is built from a diversity of perspectives and experiences,” said David M. Solomon, Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs. “Our Builders + Innovators Summit brings together a collective of impressive future leaders who are striving to drive meaningful change. For over 150 years, Goldman Sachs has supported entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses. That’s why we are pleased to recognize Chris as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2020.”

In addition to honoring 100 entrepreneurs, the summit, which this year will take place virtually, consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.
